Web / Administration / Logistics / Distribution / Operations
• There are three levels of WALDO systems suites (Waldo is a multi-purpose acronym):
(a) Waldo Business Systems
(b) WALDO Professional Systems
(c) WALDO Personal Systems.
• WALDO Business Systems (Web / Administration / Logistics / Distribution / Operations):
• The WALDO Business Systems concept is to create, deliver and support a suite of systems and related services that fully support the needs of clients in defined business verticals.
• The pricing to clients would be at a fraction of the cost that would be required were each business to develop and support its own systems architecture and hire or contract requisite support independently.
• The approach is similar to a combination of
(a) the ASP or SaaS model (Application Service Provider or Software as a Service model) (but without the inherent disadvantages that stem from having to maintain a code base that supports many fundamentally different businesses such as lack of business specific functionality and difficulty in coordinating changes and upgrades),
And (b) a pay by transaction and / or revenue model (where there is minimal up-front cost to the client, but a scaling of charges based on increases in the client's customers / transactions / revenues).
• The base functionality will be developed to support the needs of the initial supported cosmetics businesses, but in a manner that allows for the extension to other related business and partners.
• WALDO Professional Systems: (Web / Administration / L / D / O):
• The WALDO Professional Systems concept is to create, deliver, and support a suite of systems and related services that fully support the needs of subscribing clients in defined professional verticals.
• The systems can be an adjunct to WALDO Business Systems, and services would be provided to business networks of WALDO Business Systems Clients, or be a stand-alone service.
